Bill Ford as Executive Coach and Mentor
Three factors make Bill Ford effective as a Coach or Mentor. He has:
- Been at the sharp end
- in staff and line positions in challenging cultures
- Been coached himself
- seen the difference it made to him personally and to the bottom line
- contributed to a £5m profit increase
- Experienced significant personal growth
- knows the challenge and the value of it to both the business and personally
Bill Ford started coaching in 1995,
previously he was a Marketing Director with Dixon Stores Group, Bill also spent three years in the US as Vice President of Strategic Marketing for a US retailer. He started his career with the British Market Research Bureau and worked for several advertising agencies: DMB&B, Ayer Barker and Leagas Delaney.
He has a degree in Psychology, is a Certified Practitioner of Neurolinguistic Programming (NLP), and has trained in a wide variety of skills. One of his reasons for becoming a coach was his own experience when he was himself coached while in the Marketing Director role. In this role he increased profits substantially in his division and is convinced that coaching contributed significantly.
